The Human code of conduct is a set of guidelines that represent a minimum standard by which every human being on planet earth can live by.

This simple code addresses the human spirit. It provides a set of values that distinguish the human species from every other species on earth.

This code provides a common standard against which a person can measure their own behavior and, if they desire, set a direction for which to strive and participate in a civil global society.

The code is formulated on the understanding that there is One planet, One people and One human spirit and we all can, if we choose, abide by a single set of simple guidelines suitable for this day and age.

These guidelines are not original. They are extracted from a golden thread that has been weaved into the fabric of all civilizations for thousands of years. For the purpose of this exercise we reference a few that are common to all peoples regardless of where they live on this earth. We have compiled them into a single document that might serve as a spark that will lead us to a greater standard that everyone can share.

We are all created noble. Regardless of an individual's social status, gender, social position or title, no person has more value than another.

Some of us through effort or chance may have positions of greater responsibility, authority and wealth but as human beings in truth we have no greater stature than the poorest and least powerful person living in dire circustances in the most desolate of places on the planet.

The fact is we each were formed in the same manner and eventually will experience the same fate and every individual's hands will be empty and all that we have acquired will belong to someone else.

The sum total of our lives will not be measured by what we have acquired, but instead by the type of person we are and what we have done with our lives. Our legacy will be our wealth.

This human code of conduct provides a set of common basic values of how an individual can live their life and participate in the global community.

This code of conduct is not a bill of rights, nor is it a set of rules. This code is a compilation of simple and universal principals that individuals can aspire to live by and contribute in a healthy way to the positive evolution of human society.
